Our check-in time is from 3pm, and check-out time is noon.
We arrange the time as above because we hope you can fully enjoy the stay as long as possible.

Meals are served in a private space for breakfast and dinner.

At Tachibana Shikitei, meals are served in your room or in a private dining room.One reason is that we want you to enjoy your meal in a relaxing atmosphere.
The other reason is our commitment to freshly made products.Enjoy the Koshihikari pot-cooked rice from local farmers, which is cooked to go with your meal.

Comfortable floor by bare foot

Cooler in summer, warmer in winter
All floors are covered by natural innocuous paulownia. Please try it by bare foot.
The fragrance and the warmth of paulownia are transmitted to the skin and also the mind is healed by its warmth.

200 types of Yukata

Females can choose Yukata from 200 types, and males can ware SAMUE(a kind of Yukata).
Please try exploring in town of Yamashiro with your favorite Yukata.

Private concert

After enjoying your meal and bathing, please enjoy a private concert at Tachibana Shikitei.
At Hanamizuki Lounge, which has a different atmosphere than in the morning, please be sure to request a memorable song at a live piano concert held exclusively for overnight guests.

Tachibana sikitei Food of attention

The dish of Shikitei is produced by Mr. Tadamichi OTA, who has Medal with Yellow Ribbon.
Under the supervision of him, our head cook Takahiro Haruki prepares dish with local vegetable, fresh fish from Japan Sea. Please enjoy Kaiseki Cuisine which is colored by traditional Kutani pottery.

In 1996 Studied under Tadamichi Ota at Arima Onsen. In 2009, he became the head chef of Tachibana Shikitei.
He is certified as a Japanese cuisine vocational training instructor and as a Japanese cuisine specialist chef.

Born in Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture in 1945
In 1995, he appeared on Fuji TV's "Iron Chef" and became famous by defeating Tetsujin Sakai.
In 2001, he was certified as a "Kobe Meister" by Kobe City, which is given to outstanding local engineers and technicians.

Omotenashi

At Tachibana Shikitei, we value the attention to detail and consideration that gently reflects the traveler's needs.
After checking in, enjoy Kaga's famous sweets and matcha tea in your room.
Sherbet is served in the lounge from 3pm to 6pm.
We will provide you with loosely kneaded yukatas twice, once in the morning and once in the evening.
In the public bath, we provide bath towels and water for you to drink after taking a bath.
